Engineering, ahead of the portfolio.

The portfolio is being defined. This sheet sets out how we intend to work.

Take a section.

Move the cutting plane through the study form. Where it cuts, the drawing gives way to a machined face.

Pre-rendered view of the study form as a hidden-line drawing: a stepped crest on a thin plinth, visible edges continuous, hidden edges dashed.
Pre-rendered view of the study form with the section plane 200 millimetres from the left end: the cut face shown as machined aluminium, the material beyond the plane in phantom lines.
Pre-rendered view of the study form with the section plane 160 millimetres from the left end: the cut face shown as machined aluminium, the material beyond the plane in phantom lines.
Pre-rendered view of the study form with the section plane 120 millimetres from the left end: the cut face shown as machined aluminium, the material beyond the plane in phantom lines.
Pre-rendered view of the study form with the section plane 80 millimetres from the left end: the cut face shown as machined aluminium, the material beyond the plane in phantom lines.
Pre-rendered view of the study form with the section plane 40 millimetres from the left end: the cut face shown as machined aluminium, the material beyond the plane in phantom lines.
Study form: not a product.

Working tolerances

  1. Stated before claimed.

We intend to state requirement, tolerance and test before calling work done.

  2. Measured, not described.

Results will be reported as measured, with the method.

  3. Revised in the open.

Changes to these sheets will be dated.

  4. Answerable.

Each entry will name what it is, and what it is not.

Portfolio

Nothing has been announced. Each capability will be issued on its own sheet, dated, when it is real.

  • Product portfolio: being defined
  • Capability areas: to be announced
